Professional Background

Elizabeth Rightmier, PharmD, BCPS, MSCS is the Manager of Quality and Accreditation for the Specialty Pharmacy. She practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases at URMC, Highland Hospital, for three years before transitioning to the specialty pharmacy as a clinical pharmacy specialist on the multiple sclerosis team for six years. She serves as a member of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners Specialty Advisory Group on Accreditation and Compliance, as chair of the Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee, as a member of the Resident Advisory Committee and as a member of the UR Medicine Pharmacy Equity and Inclusion Committee. She began her current position in 2020 and serves as preceptor to PGY1 Community and PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Leadership and Administration residents for rotations and research projects with a focus in quality improvement.
