Biography

Dr. Colin Samoriski grew up in Victor, NY. After graduating from Providence College with his undergraduate degree in Biology, he returned home to attend medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He stayed at the University of Rochester to complete his residency training in Internal Medicine. Dr. Samoriski enjoys building lasting relationships with patients. His interests include chronic disease management, teaching, and medical education.

Dr. Samoriski received his
medical degree from the

of Medicine and Dentistry. He
continued his education at the
University and completed his
residency at Strong Memorial
Hospital.

Philosophy
Dr. Samoriski chose a career in general internal medicine
to deliver holistic care, evaluating and addressing the
entire patient. He believes that the patient/physician
relationship is central to this approach and feels that a
strong relationship is very important in an era of rapidly
evolving medical care. Dr. Samoriski strives to provide
guidance to his patients, connect and unify diagnoses,
and develop treatment plans in line with the patient’s own
values and preferences.

Special Interests
Dr. Samoriski has special interests in preventive medicine
and chronic disease management.

Dr. Samoriski enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, running and kayaking
