Dr. Kindel is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. She holds teaching appointments in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester.
She and her husband, Kevin, live in Rochester.

[...] I have been seeing Dr. Kindel for may years and she is always friendly when entering the exam room and always asks how I have been. Dr. Kindel is a wonderful doctor who is concerned about her patients. She spends the necessary time to answer all my questions before I leave the office, I never feel rushed. She will always explain the pros/cons of various medications, and remembers past visits and will ask how is this or that going.

She never makes me seem like she needs to rush through an appointment and always asks about everything going on in my life that could affect my health. I am very pleased with her as my provider, and also have liked other providers in her practice that I have seen in the past. I cannot say enough about how valued I feel when in her care.

Dr. Susan Kindel is very well educated in a wide variety of issues. If there is anything that she wants to address further, she will make the effort to find out or consult with other providers. We appreciated being able to get in for a same-day appointment with Dr. Kindel to rule out a possible strep infection. My son anticipates much more discomfort than he ever really experiences with getting swabbed and is a little fearful of having it done, but Paula made him feel comfortable before swabbing his throat, and Dr. Kindel explained what the rapid flu test would feel like before administering it, so he was very calm and not as anxious about it.

Karen at the front desk always has a smile & is excited to see my family & I. Paula is always very good at getting right back to me on and messages through MyChart or when I call the office directly. Dr. Kindel & Carrie are so sweet and SO knowledgeable. They both are good at getting myself or my twin girls in to be seen if we are sick. They are both so amazing with my family from A-Z!
