Biography

Dr. Nathaniel Bayer is committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to hospitalized children and their families. One of his primary passions is taking care of children with complex medical problems who require extensive coordination and integration across multiple sub-specialties and care systems.

Research

Dr. Bayer's research aims to explore the health of children with medical complexity in the region and nationwide using administrative and population health data to understand these children’s quality of life and healthcare utilization. He is committed to incorporating humanistic and biopsychosocial principles into his research efforts. In the future, he is interested in collaborating to develop care models and structural programs to improve health outcomes of these children and their families.
