Sheena has worked at University of Rochester Medical Center since 2016, where she started as an inpatient nurse on 7 South in Golisano Children’s Hospital. Sheena transitioned to Pediatric Surgery as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022. Her current dual inpatient/outpatient NP role includes providing pre- and postoperative care to pediatric patients aged 0 to 15 years old. Outpatient clinic role involves assessment of pediatric patients in collaboration with physicians to develop treatment plans that will provide the greatest benefit for the patient and their family.
Sheena is a member of American Pediatric Surgical Association (APSA) for affiliated professions, Pediatric Colorectal and Pelvic Learning Consortium (PCPLC), and Pull-thru Network.
