Dr. Ryan enjoys caring for patients of different ages (including adults and children) and from all walks of life and is particularly interested in providing primary care for adolescents and young adults as they learn to take increasing responsibility for their own health care. She finds developing collaborative relationships with her patients to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her practice.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Ryan attended college at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and subsequently earned her M.D. at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) in June 2015, and was the Chief Resident for the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program from June 2015 - June 2016. Currently, Dr. Ryan lives in the Rochester area with her husband Rob and enjoys running, biking, reading, and being outdoors.
