Biography

Professional Background

Justin Smith is a pediatric cardiac intensivist who is board-eligible in pediatric Cardiology. Justin received his undergraduate degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, and earned his medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Justin completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester followed by a Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Critical Care Fellowships at the University of Michigan. His research and quality improvement interests relate to clinical and developmental outcomes following cardiac surgery, as well as interdisciplinary collaboration and communication in the intensive care unit.
