Jessica has worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center since 2016. She started her career as a registered nurse on 7 south followed by working as a certified pediatric emergency nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department. She has worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in pediatric surgery since 2021. Her current dual inpatient/outpatients NP role includes providing pre- and postoperative care to pediatric patients aged 0 to 15 years old. Outpatient clinic role involves assessment of pediatric patients in collaboration with physicians to develop treatment plans that will provide the greatest benefit for the patient and their family.

Jessica is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and a member of American Pediatric Surgical Association for affiliated professionals. She is involved in NP student preceptorship, as well as aiding in the creation of a new surgical fellowship for NPs that began in 2023.
