Megan Solimano is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She joined the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester in 2020. She currently works with Dr. Tyler Schmidt, Surgical Director of the Metastatic Brain and Spinal Tumor Program within the Wilmont Cancer Institute. As a Nurse Practitioner, she provides comprehensive care to patients with complex brain and spinal tumors, brain and spinal metastasis, complex spinal reconstruction as well as general neurosurgical diseases of the brain and spine.

Megan earned a Bachelors degree in psychology and biology from SUNY Geneseo, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester and a Master of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.
