Biography

Professional Background

Anita Ray, MD, MPH completed medical school at the University of Miami in Florida and went on to finish residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. She is board-certified in both disciplines and cares for patients of all ages in the primary care setting. She received her masters in public health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health where she focused on human rights and humanitarian assistance. Her work has taken her to the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Nicaragua. She has worked closely with the homeless population in Rochester, NY as well as victims of torture in the state of New York.
