Dr. Yamshchikov completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Yale University in 2003, followed by fellowship training in Infectious Diseases at Emory University 2006-2009. She first joined the Infectious Diseases faculty at the University of Rochester in 2010, and has rejoined in 2023 after a period of private practice.

Dr Yamshchikov has extensive experience in various aspects of infectious diseases practice, including hospital epidemiology, antimicrobial stewardship, and general clinical infectious disease.
