Upon completion of medical school, I moved to the University of Rochester to study Orthopaedic Surgery, where I completed residency and fellowship programs. After post-graduate training, I completed international traveling fellowships in hip and knee preservation surgery in Bern, Switzerland and Lyon, France. As a major part of my practice, I treat injuries specific to athletes through both surgical procedures and non-surgical modalities. I specialize in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to address knee, shoulder and hip pain, injury and dysfunction. As a unique and focused subspecialty within Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, I have a special interest in treating complex patellofemoral instability, multiligamentous knee injury, complex knee deformity and hip deformity. I am active in the community taking care of our local athletes and currently serving as the Head Team Physician for University of Rochester Athletics.ResearchI am certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
