In this era of increasingly complex health care, I believe hematology and oncology patients benefit from a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach, which addresses all factors affecting their health.

I chose the field of pediatric hematology/oncology because I want to help ill children, as well as their families, through the difficult process of cancer and blood disorder diagnosis and treatment. I am fascinated by blood cells and how subcellular and vascular alterations can affect the entire body. It was natural for me to combine these interests to treat hematologic pediatric cancers and sickle cell disease.

Conditions I Treat:

- Pediatric cancers
- Sickle cell disease
- Vascular anomalies
