Isobel Semmens is originally from New York City. She obtained her first degree in psychology from Muhlenberg College. She then went on to receive both her bachelor's and master's nursing degrees from the University of Rochester. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 5 years in the NICU before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She has continued her career in the NICU and completed her Post-Masters in Neonatology.
