She is involved in both Prospective, Multicenter, Single-Arm Study of Vanquish™ Water Vapor Ablation for Prostate Cancer (VAPOR 2 Study) and A PhAse 1a/b, Dose finding, open-label study to eValuate sAfety and toxicity, of iNtravesiCal instillation of TARA-002 in adults with high-gradE non-muscle invasive blaDder cancer Clinical Trials.

She is very passionate about personal growth and education. She created an Educational Offering for her peers at Urology where experts in their field present on updates and guidelines.

Amanda graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester (now Nazareth University) in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science, Pre-medicine concentration and minor in Spanish studies and Environmental Science.

Amanda graduated from Nazareth College of Rochester (now Nazareth University) in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science, Pre-medicine concentration and minor in Spanish studies and Environmental Science.
She then went on to University of Pittsburgh for her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. She graduated with Honors in 2013 and was awarded the Virginia Kaufman Award for Excellence.

She has a broad background in Internal Medicine and Primary Care prior to coming to Urology. She works closely with Dr Thomas Frye, DO and has a focus of Urologic Oncology, including focal therapy for prostate cancer.

She created, plans and directs an APP Education Session for Urology APPs since 2023. Once monthly an attending or APP presents a topic that is pertinent and applicable to patient care. Topics are up-to-date and evidence based. CME is awarded to attendees.

She approves Beacon (Supportive) plans every 3 years for cancer treatments in the world of Urology. This includes Jelmyto, BCG, Gemcitabine/Docetaxel treatments.

She is interim lead April 2024-August 2024 while one APP lead is out on maternity leave.
