About Me

Lisa Beyers graduated in 2010 from Cornell University. After graduation, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer for 2 years with a focus on HIV/AIDS education and outreach. She completed her MD training at The Pennsylvania State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2016 and her post-gradua...
Lisa Beyers graduated in 2010 from Cornell University. After graduation, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer for 2 years with a focus on HIV/AIDS education and outreach. She completed her MD training at The Pennsylvania State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2016 and her post-graduate training at the University of Rochester in 2019. She joined the hospital medicine division in 2019 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, hospitalist clinician educator, one of the unit medical directors for the Solid Organ Transplant Unit, and hospitalist leader of the Hepatology Co-management Team, an inpatient medical team dedicated to advancing the care of patients with advanced chronic liver disease.
