Professional Background
Dr. Glatz grew up in Ames, IA. She made her way north to St. Paul, MN to complete her undergraduate degree in Biology at Macalester College. She spent two years in Philadelphia, PA working in a lab studying mitochondrial genetics. She then went back to the gopher state to attend medical school at t...
Dr. Glatz grew up in Ames, IA. She made her way north to St. Paul, MN to complete her undergraduate degree in Biology at Macalester College. She spent two years in Philadelphia, PA working in a lab studying mitochondrial genetics. She then went back to the gopher state to attend medical school at the University of Minnesota. She took a year off during medical school in order to go abroad to an island in Lake Victoria, so she could work with a small NGO that pairs with community health workers for rural community outreach. Dr. Glatz came to the University of Rochester for Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency training and is very excited to be working as a hospitalist at the University of Rochester.
