Dr. Kostarellis enjoys treating patients of all ages, particularly across generations within families. Dr. Kostarellis enjoys treating patients of all ages, particularly across generations within families. She strives to use the latest medical research and evidence to customize care for all her patients, while keeping a patient’s wishes at the forefront. She enjoys teaching to ensure that her patients are well-informed regarding their health and medical decisions

Dr. Kostarellis is interested in general family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, breastfeeding promotion and assistance, integrative medicine/lifestyle medicine, palliative/hospice care, and health care advocacy.

She has an interest in outpatient procedures, such as IUD placement, Nexplanon placement, skin biopsies, joint injections, and wart removals.

She realizes the importance of family dynamics in a patient’s overall health and will take the time to understand the interpersonal relationships that affect her patients. Dr. Kostarellis wishes to grow with her patients as they navigate the ever-changing path of life.

Dr. Kostarellis completed medical school at Upstate Medical University where she was a Rural Medicine Scholar and completed 10 months of rotations in Batavia, NY. There, she solidified her decision to pursue a career in family medicine, while staying local to complete her residency at the University of Rochester and serving as a fourth year chief resident. She received the residency director award for Political Advocacy and Leadership and hopes to continue advocating for health care in her future career.
