Eric Thomas is a Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiac and Critical Care Medicine; he is currently the VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) Program Manager in the Artificial Heart Program. Eric is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology Physician Assistant Program and subsequently completed post-graduate Fellowship training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Mr. Thomas actively practices in the Division of Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital and in the Division of Critical Care Medicine at FF Thompson Hospital. Eric is also a National Registry Paramedic and two-time graduate of the Simon Business School. His primary clinical interests include: heart transplant, ventricular assist devices, mechanical circulatory support, acute cardiogenic shock, clinical quality, and cardiac innovation.

Eric works collaboratively with the Advanced Heart Failure Medical and Surgical teams to provide high quality care to our region.
