Biography

As a podiatrist at UR Medicine, I specialize in treating people who have a wide range of issues. Some are orthopaedic such as flat feet deformities, hammertoes or bunions. I also treat diabetic foot care ulcers and infections. I also provide relief skin conditions. lower extremity ulcerations and infections. These conditions are often complicated by diabetes, kidney disease, peripheral arterial disease, or a foot deformity. If a patient requires surgery, I have expertise in performing reconstructive foot procedures, such as tendon balancing, bone fusions, osteotomies, and functional amputations. For these patients, I always explore nonsurgical care before proceeding with any type of surgical treatment.

When someone has a problem with a foot or an ankle, it keeps them from functioning as they normally would. They cannot stand or walk easily. My special interest is surgery and being able to correct those issues and allowing patients to walk better and pain-free.

I make myself available to my patients whenever they might need me. Whether it’s surgery or non-surgical treatment, I have their best interests at heart. My goal as a podiatrist is to get patients back to do what they love to do.

Research

I perform hundreds of surgeries a year and am committed to research and education. I stay up to date on the latest advances in treatment through professional society membership. I pride myself on creating individualized care for my patients.

I am board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
