Professional Background

Marin Valentino, PharmD., BCCCP earned her doctorate of pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Upon graduation she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Joseph's Health. After residency Marin worked as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist on the Critical Care/Emergency Medicine team at SMH for four years. She served as the Advanced Clinical Practice preceptor for the PGY-2 Critical Care & PGY-2 Infectious Diseases programs. She is also a preceptor for IPPE & APPE students from SJFC & ACPHS. Marin currently works as the clinical pharmacist at the UR Complex Care Center which provides primary care to adult patients who have complex childhood onset of disease. In addition to clinical practice responsibilities, she is the chair of the Marketing Subcommittee to the RAC and a member of ACCP.
