Lauren Camaione, PharmD, BCCPS, is a Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist at UR Medicine. She received her doctorate of pharmacy from St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York and a PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Camaione is the director of the PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency program and is a preceptor for the PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy and PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy residency programs. Before joining the UR Medicine pharmacy team, Camaione practiced as a pediatric clinical specialist and precepted both PGY1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Infectious Diseases pharmacy residents at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Her practice interests include neonatal infections and antimicrobial stewardship.
