Dr. Syed was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and received her undergraduate Degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University on Toronto. She earned her MD from Saba University School of Medicine and then completed the residency in Internal Medicine from Rochester General Hospital. After working in both administration and academics Dr. Syed realized her passion for working with medical students.
