“Upper and lower extremity reconstruction are both challenging and complex and I think represent the epitome of plastic surgery principles – using surgery to maximize form and function for patients. Hands and feet are obviously crucial to all of us living our daily lives and I find it very rewarding to give patients the ability to return to their hobbies, sports or maintain mobility and independence.”

I treat any and all conditions that affect the hand including fractures, arthritis, nerve compression and injury, Raynaud’s disease, arterial insufficiency, tumors, skin cancers and more. I also treat lower extremity wounds after traumatic injuries or diabetic foot ulcers.
My goal in treating patients with upper and lower extremity issues is to maximize their function and quality of life. I take into account the entire person, including their functional needs and support structure, and work to get them back to using their hands, walking and leading a fulfilling and independent life.

I am dedicated to my patients and will work to make sure they receive optimal care even when that does not include surgery. I am happy to care for issues in both the acute and chronic settings and work to coordinate treatment plans with referring physicians for continued collaboration.
