Biography

Education and Training
Dr. Mario Montalbo received his medical
degree from the University of Pittsburgh
School of Medicine. He completed his
Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph
Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Certifications
Dr. Montalbo is board certified in
Internal Medicine and is a member and
fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Special Interests
Dr. Montalbo is interested in general internal medicine and
caring for adult patients who are in good health and for those
with acute and chronic illnesses. He is a believer in preventive
medicine and is an avid supporter of healthy lifestyles.

Philosophy
Dr. Montalbo has been in practice for over 25 years, gaining
experience from working in private practice, inner city clinics
and academic-community centers. He enjoys teaching students
and residents and applying science in managing illnesses.
He believes it is through a close relationship with patients,
sharing empathy and compassion, that he feels quality care is
ultimately provided.

On a Personal Note
In his free time, Dr. Montalbo enjoys spending time with family,
biking, golfing, running and playing the piano.
