Dr. Schutt is interested in the care of rheumatologic disease in children, in both the ambulatory and inpatient setting, especially Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis and Juvenile Scleroderma. She is trained in point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions.


Dr. Schutt is a pediatric rheumatologist who has an interest in many different diseases that afflict children, such as Juvenile Scleroderma and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. She has participated in many different research projects, ranging from translational, clinical, and quality improvement. She has a particular interest in point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound, and the use of this technology to help advance our understanding and diagnosis of rheumatologic disease in children, and the use of this tool in medical education.
