Education and Training
Dr. Jacob Tallman received his medical degree from the State University of New York
at Buffalo. He completed a Geriatric Fellowship at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina and his Family Medicine Residency at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Dr. Tallman is board certified in Family and Geriatric Medicine and is a recipient of the Charles Bauda Award for Excellence in Family Medicine.
Dr. Tallman is interested in Geriatric and Family Medicine and Dermatology.
Dr. Tallman believes that effective communication is essential to providing good medical care and in helping patients navigate the healthcare system.
On a Personal Note
In his free time, Dr. Tallman enjoys rural life with dogs, tractors and gardens. He also enjoys hiking and exploring the world.
