Danielle R. Sauvageau, PAC

Danielle moved to the Rochester area to join the University’s Primary Care division after completing the Physician Assistant program at Daemen College. She is a NY state licensed physician assistant and is also recognized by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. While completing her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Danielle worked as a medical assistant in a Primary Care office in the Buffalo area. This work in Primary Care allowed her to explore interests in women’s health, endocrinology, dermatology and orthopedic medicine.

Danielle believes Family Medicine to be the cornerstone of a patient’s healthcare. “I feel my work in Primary Care taught me the importance of treating the patient as a whole and taking every aspect of the patient’s life into consideration when determining the best management strategy for their condition. I want to empower my patients to make well-informed decisions, while helping them understand why certain treatments are being recommended.”

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys listening to music and playing guitar and when her spare time allows you may see her cycling or playing a little golf.
