Biography

Professional Background

Dr. Janice Lee offers expert medical and surgical care to patients suffering from common eye conditions and specializes in the treatment of cataracts. She received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she was chief resident. Prior to coming to Rochester, Dr. Lee practiced general ophthalmology in Bayside, New York, and Torrance, California. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Lee takes a collaborative approach to ophthalmology, working with primary care providers and optometrists to offer patients comprehensive medical care, as well as appropriately referring to Flaum Eye Institute subspecialists. Among the conditions she treats and procedures she performs are:
