Biography

I am a skilled hand and wrist surgeon with additional extensive training in treating fractures and broken bones. I have more than 10 years of experience performing a broad spectrum of both orthopedic and spinal procedures. My areas of interest include upper and lower extremity fractures, hand and wrist injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, tendon repairs and transfers and upper extremity arthroscopy. I look forward to providing you advanced orthopaedic and hand care close to your home.

Professional Background

I am a graduate of the American University of Beirut. My orthopaedic fellowship training included Hand Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery at the University of Louisville, Orthopaedic Pediatric Spine Surgery at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, and Combined Spine Surgery at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.

Research

I maintain professional affiliations in medical associations specializing in hand, spine and trauma. I am passionate about educating future medical professionals and passing on extensive knowledge base. My research has focused on spine surgery and general orthopaedic surgical outcomes. My current projects include imaging related to scoliosis; surgical treatments for Pilon and bilateral femoral shaft fracture and isolated closed tibia shaft fracture.
