My philosophy is centered around empathy, integrity, and open communication. I am dedicated to treating patients as whole individuals, addressing their mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. I am committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to all of my families and building strong doctor-patient relationships to promote overall health and well-being.
Special Interests
My special interests include in-office procedures, specifically musculoskeletal, dermatological, and GYN. I’m also interested in chronic disease management, women’s health, lifestyle medicine, and obesity management.

Dr. Thakor is so easy to talk to, brings a sense of calm, she listens and provides clarification as needed. She is well versed on my chart when I come in so it eliminates any redundancies and helps me remember things I may have forgotten. I am so grateful and happy to have her as my Physician.

The time spent was mainly going over the drugs I take. The dr. Didn't ask me what my major health concerns are. I did bring one of my questions up but it would have been good if she had asked me what my major health concerns are.

Unfortunately, I started to have a low blood sugar during the visit and the doctor rushed to provide me with a snack. Since this was my first appointment with Dr Thakor, I would have preferred to have a little more time. However, the doctor was prepared and offered some good suggestions.

At my appointment, my provider was running 25 minutes behind schedule, which wasn't a big concern of mine to begin with. After I was taken into an actual examination room for my visit, I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my doctor to arrive. [...] Made me feel like I wasn't being listened to. [...] I was not at all satisfied with my care and will be looking into finding a new provider.
