URMC / Research Alliances / Regulatory Science / Education and Training / Degree Programs Fellowships/Internships FDA Fellowship Programs - this is a list of student, fellowship and senior scientist programs offered by the FDA. The Pharma Foundation's Regulatory Science Fellowship funds scientists at critical points in their research careers to support and reward innovation in disciplines essential to the development of safe and effective medicines through our fellowship and grant programs. Applicants must hold a PhD or appropriate terminal research doctorate in a field related to the proposed activities of this Fellowship or hold a Juris Doctorate (JD) with 1-2 years post-JD experience. The opportunities for this Fellowship will be in Maryland, New Jersey or Pennsylvania and the Fellow must be able to relocate to one of these locations for the duration of the Fellowship. Applicants must have permanent U.S. work authorization. This program will support Fellows focusing on medicine and medical products exclusively. Those who participate in this program will enhance their individual knowledge and skills while building the expertise currently needed within the regulatory science ecosystem and receive a paid stipend of $70,000 for one year. Application deadline: April 1, 2018 Postdoctoral Fellowship in Regulatory Science - UCSF-Stanford Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (CERSI) invites qualified candidates to submit applications for the 2017 cohort. The postdoctoral fellowship is an experiential program that will provide outstanding postdocs with unique immersion experiences in regulatory science research at UCSF or Stanford, in industry, and at the FDA. During the 2-3 year program, Fellows will receive a monthly stipend commensurate with education level and experience.
