Research Question:
Is the investigational drug NRD135S.El effective in treating Painful Diabetic Peripheral
Neuropathy?
Basic Study Information
Purpose:
The University of Rochester is looking for adults 18 years and older with feet pain
from diabetes to participate in a research study about a new investigational medication.
We want to find out if it can treat foot pain from diabetes. If you are eligible,
you will be asked to: (1) come to 8-9 visits in our clinic over 3 months, (2) take
the study medication each day, and (3) answer surveys. You will be paid $85 for each
completed visit. Study related examinations and study medication will be provided
at no cost.
