This program began soon after Friends of Strong became an official organization in 1975. We have hosted many incredibly talented students over the years.

2026 Rochester River Run 5K

The Rochester River Run/Walk 5K—Sunday, April 19 at Genesee Valley Park—is celebrating its 25^th year raising funds in support of patients awaiting or recovering from organ transplant surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital. Individuals and teams are invited to sign up to run, walk, or pledge their support at RiverRun.urmc.edu.
