Wine Tasting Fundraiser to Benefit Patient Care
Enjoy a relaxing evening with your friends – or significant other – at Friends of Strong's 30th Annual Gala Wine Tasting fundraiser. Experience samples from more than 100 fabulous red, white, and sparkling imported and domestic wines along with French champagnes, delicious hors d'oeuvres and luscious desserts.
Join Friends of Strong at the Monroe Golf Club on Friday, February 9th from 7pm to 10pm.
Be entertained by live music, capture new memories at our complimentary photo booth, and peruse a selection of silent and live auction items from in and around Rochester—all while supporting patient- and family-centered care at Strong Memorial Hospital. Also available will be valet services, coat check, and a cash bar.

Enhancing the Patient Experience
With your attendance, we’re able to enhance the health care experience throughout Strong Memorial Hospital, delivering much-needed patient care equipment, as well as friendly volunteer faces and warm, furry friends who create a happier healing environment all year long.
Established in 1975, Friends of Strong supports the mission and goals of Strong Memorial Hospital by providing volunteer services to enhance patient care and raising funds through events, direct donations, and retail outlets.
In 2023, over 700 volunteers donated over 71,000 hours of service, and we funded more than $500,000 toward programs and initiatives throughout the hospital, such as safe-sleep infant swaddles for every baby born at Strong, nursing education scholarships, and the Eastman Performing Arts Medicine program—bringing live world-class musical performances to spaces throughout the hospital for patients, families, and staff.
