Thank YOU for Another Successful Coat Drive

Over the past several months, Friends of Strong, together with the Hospital’s Emergency Department, the Department of Pediatrics, Advantage Federal Credit Union—and many of you—accomplished another successful winter coat drive for patients in need.

"Thank you to everyone involved in making this year’s winter coat drive such a resounding success," shares Dan Nowak, M.S., R.N., Emergency Department Director of Patient and Family Relations. "Together, we've collected more than 500 warm winter coats, many brand new, when it mattered most, and we made sure that every patient discharged from Strong Memorial Hospital went home with weather-appropriate clothing during a very cold Rochester winter."

"Donations from throughout our URMC community made it possible," adds Sandy Arbasak, director of Friends of Strong. "It is deeply appreciated and truly heart-warming—for us, and for our patients."
