Adult Vascular Access Specialist - Imaging Sciences

The AVAST RN is a Registered Nurse who inserts and monitors PICC, Midlines, ultrasound guided extended dwell catheters, and ultrasound guided PIVs. RN will act as a resource to medical center staff regarding vascular access line therapy and IV assessment, products, procedures, and assist with difficult IV access patients when needed.

East River Road Adult Outpatient Imaging

This site provides a variety of diagnostic imaging exams as well as interventional radiologic procedures for the adult ambulatory patient. Diagnostic modalities include CT, MRI, PET/CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and GI/GU fluoroscopy. All RNs are skilled in peripheral IV insertions and accessing CVCs for IV contrast injections. RNs develop a thorough knowledge base for the safe, efficient care of patients undergoing radiological procedures. Critical Care, PACU or ED experience preferred.

Imaging Sciences – Diagnostic Radiology

We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI’s, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound. Established skills at peripheral IV insertions and accessing CVC lines are required, along with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and the desire to continue to develop an imaging nursing knowledge base.

Imaging Sciences – Interventional Radiology

Provide direct patient care to adult and pediatric in-patients undergoing interventional procedures (biopsies, embolization, ablations and other image guided therapies). This role includes care delivery during the pre, intra, and post moderate sedation/procedural periods. Critical Care, PACU or ED experience preferred.

UR Imaging – Strong West and Batavia Locations

Between these two sites, the diagnostic imaging modalities of CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Dexascan, Mammography, and X-ray are available. Established skills at peripheral IV insertions and accessing CVC lines are required, along with the ability to function independently in the RN role and prioritize patient care needs in a fast-paced environment.

Imaging Sciences at UMI, Penfield and AOC (Marketplace Mall)

Provides exposure to Diagnostic Imaging specialties. We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRI’s, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-ray and ultrasound. Established skills at peripheral IV insertions and accessing CVC lines are required, along with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and the desire to continue to develop an imaging nursing knowledge base.
