Nurse Practitioner, Senior Wound Specialist

Lisa WallinAs an Adult Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience with chronic wound management, Lisa has developed her career as an advanced wound specialist. She began her career path towards this specialty with the combination of experience and expertise in the underlying pathology and etiology of the chronic wound. Past work experience in both hospital and home care settings knit together a profound understanding of cause and prevention in the chronic wound population and allowed Lisa to develop clinical expertise to promote healing. She utilizes evidence based practice guidelines in the refinement of her surgical debridement skills and as a lifelong educator, Lisa lectures and precepts advanced practice nurses and medical students.
