Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking additional Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to help staff our growing list of clinical sites. The Department of Anesthesiology provides services for over 40,000 patients per year at Strong Memorial Hospital (43 anesthetizing locations), Highland Hospital (11 ORs) and the Ambulatory Surgical Center at Sawgrass (10 ORs and 2 procedure rooms), and continues to experience substantial growth in surgical volume reflecting both ambulatory and complex inpatient cases. Strong Memorial is an academic medical center providing clinical services for a referral population of 2.2 million.

CRNAs participate in all clinical activities of the Department, including anesthesia care for ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Orthopedics, GU, OB/GYN, Transplant, Pediatric, Dental, Thoracic, Vascular, Trauma and Burns, and General Surgery Patients. We also participate in the teaching and training of SRNA’s from the University of Buffalo.
