Recycling & Green Initiatives

The Biological Supply Center is your laboratory recycling center for a variety of items:

• Plastic tip boxes - 3,148 lbs recycled to date through Polycarbin!
• Styrofoam shippers - hundreds of Styrofoam shippers have already been returned to Sigma and recycled locally.
• Plastic media bottles - bring your clean PBS, DPBS, distilled water, and other media bottles to recycle in the green recycling bin.
• Ice packs - reusable ice packs can be dropped off or picked up for use.
• Lab supply swap shelf - think twice before you toss! Consider dropping off and picking up a variety of supplies.
