The Wilmot Cancer Institute public relations team is available to help arrange interviews with our experts and to assist with questions about Wilmot’s research and care initiatives. Wilmot’s PR team is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Preferred editorial style

On first reference, we prefer to be identified as “UR Medicine’s Wilmot Cancer Institute.” On second reference, we prefer “Wilmot Cancer Institute” or “Wilmot.” Please note:

• Wilmot Cancer Institute encompasses all cancer care and research activities of the University of Rochester Medical Center throughout the region.
• Wilmot Cancer Institute is a component of Strong Memorial Hospital.
• The James P. Wilmot Cancer Center is the building on the campus of Strong Memorial Hospital.
