Wilmot/CCAC Our Voice - Your Science Pilot Program

The Wilmot Cancer Institute and the Community Cancer Action Council (CCAC) have joined forces to support collaborative research projects specifically targeted to Wilmot catchment area needs, including cancer disparities. Supplements to existing research projects are encouraged, with the goal of propelling existing research toward development of extramural grant applications that address catchment area-specific problems. 

Successful projects will engage Research Action Councils (RACs) and community partners in all phases of the research. Proposals should involve at least one member of the Genetics, Epigenetics, and Metabolism or Cancer Microenvironment research programs.

• Invited full applications are due Nov. 20, 2023. 
• Projects are expected to begin on Jan. 2, 2024.
