2024 CCAC Retreat

The fifth annual retreat of Wilmot’s Community Cancer Action Council (CCAC) was attended by more than 200 people on October 11, 2024, at the University of Rochester Flaum Atrium. We’re excited to see the event continue to grow, especially as we explore impactful themes like "CCAC in A.C.T.I.O.N" (Accessing Clinical Trials in Our Neighborhood). View this year's event program by clicking here.

2023 CCAC Retreat 

Over 190 people attended Wilmot’s Community Cancer Action Council’s (CCAC) fourth annual retreat on October 20, 2022, in Henrietta. The event continued to increase its attendance from the previous year, attracting attendees from 17 counties across the catchment area to focus around this year’s theme: The Power of Partnerships...and Beyond. 2022 CCAC Retreat

More than 160 people attended Wilmot’s Community Cancer Action Council’s (CCAC) third annual retreat on October 7, 2022, in Geneva. The event more than doubled its attendance from the previous year, attracting attendees from 17 counties across the catchment area to focus around this year’s theme: The Power of Partnerships. View the event program. 

2021 CCAC Retreat

In October 2021, Wilmot's CCAC gathered in Geneva, New York, to celebrate achievements, review priorities and set strategies moving forward. During the event, each of the four working groups shared what they have accomplished over the last year as well as what they're working toward. National experts, including keynote speaker Gbenga Ogedegbe, M.D., of the New York University School of Global Public Health, shared insights and inspiration on equity and inclusion.
