Headaches are a common problem, but our experts recognize the seriousness and complexity of more serious headache disorders. We treat:
- Migraine headaches without aura
- Migraine headaches with aura (sensory disturbances, usually visual)
- Cluster headaches
- Tension headaches
- Other trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias such as paroxysmal hemicrania, hemicrania continua, and SUNCT and SUNA
- Post-traumatic headaches
- Post-concussive headaches
- Chronic headaches (of any type or cause)

University of Rochester Medicine offers urgent care and video visits, real-time video connections with URochester Medicine providers that can diagnose the cause of your headache. If the cause of headache is more complex, Headache Center providers will work with you to identify the best treatments.
The providers at the Headache Center understand the suffering and isolation felt by those who have chronic headache disorders. We are a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, techs, and administrative assistants who all work together to help our patients regain their lives.
