Eligibility Requirements

Qualified candidates must have DDS, DMD or equivalent degree (e.g. BDS), must be proficient in the English language and must submit all required program application materials by the PASS application deadline.

Admissions Requirements

  1. PASS Application
  2. Non-refundable Application Fee (as required by specific programs)
  3. Letters of Recommendation (3)
  4. Curriculum Vitae/Resume
  5. Personal Statement
  6. Transcripts
  7. WES ICAP evaluation for transcripts issued by institutions outside the U.S. and Canada
  8. Copy of Dental School Diploma
  9. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), as applicable (School code: 9487)
  10. NBDE Results for Residency Programs  (Part 1 required, Part 2, if taken)

It is expected that all application materials (with the exception of TOEFL official score reports) be scanned and uploaded to your online application. Please note that the Eastman Institute for Oral Health reserves the right to verify the accuracy of all transcripts and test scores, and to require submission of official documentation at any point in the admissions review process.

Admissions Criteria

Due to the diverse needs of the individual programs, each training program establishes specific criteria for the selection of applicants. Generally, applicants are considered on the basis of the following criteria: 

  • Completed Application
  • Grade Point Average
  • Class Standing
  • Transcript/Pattern of Academic Achievement
  • National Board Scores
  • Experience and Training
  • Recommendations
  • Personal interview
