ID Clinical Conference Weekly conference presented by various faculty and fellows in DOM Thursdays, 12:00-1:00pm (McCann Room, 3-6232)
City-Wide ID Conference Outstanding cases in infectious diseases are presented and discussed from 3 Rochester area hospitals (Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, and Unity Hospital) Last Thursday of the month (locations vary)
Seminar Series Weekly conference on Core ID topics taught by faculty Fridays, 8:00-9:00am (McCann Room, 3-6232)

Attending Rounds – Daily rounds by a member of the full-time faculty with fellows, residents and medical students.

Infection Prevention Training – The University of Rochester, in collaboration with other teaching hospitals in the community, has developed a syllabus and self-study program with a post-test component, which has met the Department of Health and State.

Education Department requirements. New York State Certification is provided upon completion.  

Formal Courses – Fellows and faculty and staff may attend Microbiology, Virology, Immunology, Biostatistics, Epidemiology and other courses offered by the School of Medicine.
