Sophia Eliseeva As a laboratory technician, Sophia acquired advanced cell culture skills and performed multiple protein and RNA assays. She trained lab members and mentored undergraduate students before being promoted to laboratory director and manager.
In her leadership role, she gained mouse husbandry expertise, designed new protocols for a mouse lung physiology suite, contributed to experimental design, and co-authored several manuscripts. She also wrote a first-author publication based on an independent research project.

Knickole Bergman Fourth-year Toxicology PhD Candidate at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the laboratory of Dr. Martha Susiarjo. Her research examines how endocrine-disrupting chemicals affect pancreatic islet function and contribute to gestational diabetes.
Knickole is passionate about environmental health, physiology, and reducing health disparities through scientific research. Her interests focus on maternal health across preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum stages.
She plans to pursue science writing and postdoctoral research exploring how environmental contaminants and consumer products impact female reproductive tract health. She is also interested in risk assessment and environmental epidemiology.

Zachary Boodoo Zachary Boodoo, M.S., is a fourth-year immunology PhD candidate who will be interning this Spring with Dr. Elaine Smolock in the myHub Writing Services. He will develop fellowship resources, evaluate program outcomes, and help improve teaching modules.
He will also provide one-on-one support with fellowship and grant writing, qualifying exam preparation, and other scientific writing endeavors. Zachary brings a strong record of teaching service and scientific mentorship that will be further refined as a member of the myHub team.
