Dr. Stone, Associate Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, is developing InstaEval, an innovative AI-assisted mobile application designed to improve the quality, specificity, and efficiency of trainee assessment in medical education. The platform enables faculty to capture real-time clinical observations and record trainee feedback sessions to autogenerate structured narrative summaries that support more meaningful learner feedback and evaluation. By reducing documentation burden while improving evaluation specificity, InstaEval aims to transform how medical trainees are assessed in clinical learning environments.
