Kyrstin Baldino RN, BSN, CDCES

Kyrstin is a nurse and certified diabetes care and education specialist at Diabetes Health Source. She graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts for Education from SUNY Brockport and later returned to school to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester School of Nursing in 2015. With prior experience in inpatient hospital care, Kyrstin's diverse educational background enhances her ability to communicate complex health information in accessible and engaging ways, empowering patients to take charge of their health. Kyrstin brings a strong clinical foundation and a patient-centered approach to her work and has a vast knowledge of diabetes-related technology, including continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump use.

Milan Bowe, RN

Milan Bowe, RN

Milan Bowe is an experienced registered nurse with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for patient education and chronic disease management. She began her nursing career in 2015, specializing in cardiac care, where she developed a deep understanding of cardiovascular health. Her expertise led her to a role as a Clinical Specialist with Abbott, supporting both vascular and electrophysiology teams and collaborating closely with physicians and medical staff to optimize patient outcomes. Currently, Milan has transitioned into the role of a Diabetes Nurse Educator, where she combines her clinical knowledge and compassionate approach to empower patients in managing their diabetes and improving their overall quality of life.

Sarah Cook RN

Sarah Cook RN

Sarah Cook is a registered dietitian and began working at Diabetes HealthSource as an educator in January 2024. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and then completed her dietetic Internship in 2019 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Sarah’s expertise includes working with patients in long term care as well as community nutrition. She enjoys applying the skills learned to support patients and help them achieve lifestyle goals.

Laura McNamara, RD, CDE

Laura McNamara, RD, CDCES

Laura McNamara, RD, CDE is a nutrition educator at the Diabetes HealthSource. She has a Bachelors Degree in Dietetics from the State University College at Buffalo, and became certified in diabetes education in 1990. She has experience in nutrition counseling, cardiac rehab, and an interest in sports nutrition. Laura enjoys empowering clients to work on behavioral change to improve their health.


Sally C. Nordquist, R.N., C.D.E., M.S.Ed.

Sally C. Nordquist, RN, CDCES., M.S.Ed.

Sally is the certified diabetes nurse educator, as well as the Program Coordinator at the Diabetes HealthSource. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from SUNY at Utica/Rome. In 1992, she received a Master’s Degree in Community Health Education from SUNY at Brockport.

Sally has been certified in diabetes education since 1994. She was previously certified in nephrology nursing & she has strong dialysis background. She is also a certified pump trainer and is proficient with CGMS (continuous glucose monitoring system). Sally’s special interests include patient education and assisting clients with behavior change.


Jill Garringer

Jill Garringer, RD, CDCES

Jill is a Registered Dietitian and began working as a nutrition educator at the Diabetes HealthSource in October, 2017. She has a Bachelors degree in Nutrition Science from Northern Arizona University, and completed the Sage Graduate School Dietetic Internship in 1998.

Jill has a strong clinical background, previously certified in nutrition support. She was formerly the Clinical Nutrition Manager at Highland Hospital. Working clinically for over 20 years, she has ample experience in diabetes, as well as a wide range of other diseases, including a special interest in Celiac disease.


Jackie Page

Jackie White, RD, CDCES

Jackie is a registered dietitian and began working at Diabetes HealthSource as an educator in August 2018. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from the University of Delaware and then completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition at The State University of New York at Buffalo in 2015.

Jackie previously worked as a dietitian in long-term care, but has enjoyed counseling and supporting patients to make behavioral changes.
