Plant-Based Program

Whether you want to lose weight or just start a healthier lifestyle, a plant-based diet may be right for you. This is a program without calorie counting, calorie restriction, or carb counting.

A plant-based way of life can have health benefits besides weight loss, helping some people to reduce and even eliminate medications for chronic conditions. As a participant in this program, you will be assisted by Dr. Campbell and a support group of people on the same journey as you.

On average, patients lose 6% of their body weight in 8-9 weeks.

Over 20% of patients were able to stop a chronic medication in 8-9 weeks.

How it works

If you select the plant-based program, you will learn how to shop, prepare and eat a whole-food, plant-based diet. This type of diet avoids or minimizes meat, dairy, and processed foods, including added fats and sugars. A plant-based diet includes pastas, breads, rice, potatoes, fruits, and vegetables. We strongly urge you to eat lots of food to be full every time you eat, and to eat whenever you get even a little bit hungry.

The plant-based program consists of two phases:

Active Weight Loss

During the active weight loss phase, you will attend weekly meetings featuring a full, catered meal and a curriculum led by Dr. Campbell. You will also meet with others in the program for support as you adapt to your new lifestyle.

During the maintenance phase, you will attend monthly meetings. Maintenance will include regular weigh-ins, targeted education and discussion, periodic comprehensive assessments and a chance to connect with others on the same journey.
